Pragni leads Lumiere’s intellectual property transactions, technology, media & entertainment sector practice and also focuses on data privacy and gaming laws. She specialises in M&A, fundraising transactions and equity incentivisation work for clients whose businesses rely heavily on intellectual property and require making sense of a rapidly changing digital landscape.
Pragni has over 15 years of experience as a lawyer in intellectual property laws, technology & data privacy and general corporate law. She has a bachelor’s degree in law from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in law from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
Pragni practices corporate law with an emphasis on structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements that focus on the development, transfer, procurement, commercialization and maintenance of intellectual property and technology.
Her corporate experience, along with her in-depth knowledge of intellectual property law, puts her in a unique position to give holistic strategic counsel to firms which are IP intensive. She has extensive expertise in foreign direct investment, transactional and regulatory work in the media and entertainment, technology, gaming, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food sectors.
